I am a senior in need of the services of the Furry Godparent Program; how can I participate?
The services of the Furry Godparent Program are provided to Pinellas County, Florida, seniors through senior retirement communities and religious organizations. Each participating senior retirement community and religious organization has a designated Furry Godparent Program Coordinator. Please contact your Furry Godparent Program Coordinator as the first step to participate in the Furry Godparent Program.
I wish to participate in the Furry Godparent Program, but my senior retirement community or religious organization does not currently offer the Furry Godparent Program. What is the process for senior retirement communities and religious organizations to become participants in the Furry Godparent Program?

What is the cost to participate in the Furry Godparent Program?
There is no cost to senior retirement communities or religious organizations who wish to offer in the Furry Godparent Program to their residents and members.
For seniors, there is no cost to participate until your pet needs a new home. In 2022, the cost is $300 for a healthy pet and $500 for a pet with a chronic medical condition.
